Three years ago a friend had spoken of a delightful glen along Skillet Creek. He recently returned and showed me the location [fortunately and unfortunately it is on private property... it remains in a pristine state but very few know about it]. There are several of these remarkable glens along the Baraboo Ridge [near Baraboo, Wisconsin] and the Wisconsin River [near Wisconsin Dells].
