Artist's Description

Juvenile Burrowing owl. These owls like short grassy areas so they tend to nest in parks, ball fields and golf courses. The burrows are roped off and posted to give these small [about the size of a robin] protected owls some living space. Photographed at Brian Piccolo Park in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
